November 2011Mobilize have won a competition run by UK Trade & Investment aimed at innovative mobile technology companies and will represent the UK at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona.
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) works with UK businesses to ensure their success in international markets, and encourage the best overseas companies to look to the UK as their global partner of choice. Mobilize were chosen from 12 finalists based on their innovative mobile CRM and loyalty technology platform that enables retailers to run their loyalty card programmes via customer’s phones. This solution is good for customers who can have all of the details and offers regarding the programme on their phone and can use the phone to earn and redeem rewards and offers. It’s also good for retailers for many of whom loyalty programmes require large amounts of paper – enrolment forms, mailings, vouchers and coupons – as well as for the environment. Evidence shows that “mobilizing” a loyalty programme can grow sales and reduce costs.
In addition to mobile CRM, Mobilize have expertise in mobile websites, applications and mobile analytics. Their solutions are live in 22,000 convenience stores and they are working with a number of high profile UK retailers.
Commenting on the award Steve Gray, Chairman and CEO of Mobilize said: “We are very pleased to win this prestigious award, which reflects well on everyone at Mobilize, and to represent the best of UK mobile technology companies in Barcelona. We appreciate the work being done by UKTI and hope that this will lead to significant interest in our solutions from overseas companies and help open up new markets for us”.
